Vaujany: new outdoor signage to promote parking and pedestrian paths

Polymobyl offers custom signage to enhance your territory

At Vaujany, a signage system to promote controlled mobility in the resort and encourage pedestrian traffic

Located in the heart of the Oisans massif, the Vaujany ski resort welcomes large numbers of visitors every year to enjoy the Alpine scenery and outdoor activities. To improve the flow of traffic, enhance the visitor experience and make it easier to find your way around the resort to shops and lift departures, the Mairie de Vaujany called on Polymobyl to completely rethink its outdoor signage.

Faced with increasing visitor numbers, the municipality wanted to encourage motorists to park in the parking lots at the entrance to the resort, and then take safe, clearly-identified paths to the shops, other points of interest and lift departures. This approach aims to encourage motorists to park in dedicated parking lots, enhance pedestrian safety and preserve the resort’s landscape quality.

🔍 A comprehensive approach supported by Polymobyl
🧭 From analysis to the field:
Polymobyl led a comprehensive approach, in close collaboration with the town council’s departments:
– Diagnosis of traffic and parking flows
– Development of a signage master plan
– Design and manufacture of signage
– Implementation of clear, coherent and aesthetically pleasing signage
This project is fully in line with the challenges of soft mobility, the quality of the tourist welcome and the preservation of the living environment.
📍The result is visible from the moment you arrive at the resort: a guided, intuitive itinerary that enhances both the visitor experience and the mountain landscape.
