Polymobyl bicycle shelters with Alvéole Plus label

The Alvéole Plus program aims to develop soft mobility, and in particular the use of bicycles in public spaces. In particular, it includes a section on financing parking solutions.

How does the Alvéole + program work?

The principle that guided the creation of
Alvéole +
is simple: to encourage and accelerate the creation of secure bicycle shelters by local authorities. The program has three components:

initiatives to train users in the benefits of soft mobility;
support for projects to create cycle parking facilities, paid for at 100% by the program;
subsidies for the purchase of approved equipment. Grants can cover up to 40% of the investment (excluding VAT) in equipment eligible under the program, and up to 50% for low mobility emission zones (ZFE-m).

Support for bicycle parking in public spaces

The equipment covered by the Alvéole Plus program includes both complete shelters and bike racks. The only requirement is that the equipment be purchased from certified partners such as Polymobyl.

Alvéole Plus is of interest to local authorities – especially municipalities – as well as educational establishments, railway stations and associations. If the program requires label products, it also takes into account the layout of the planned site.

Focus on the Objectif Employeur Pro-Vélo program

Alongside the development of bicycle parking facilities in urban areas, there are also subsidies for businesses. The program is
Objectif Employeur Pro-Vélo
program, set up as part of the CEE (Certificats d’Economie d’Energie) program.

The principle is simple: offer companies a support program leading to the Pro-Vélo Employer label, accompanied by a bonus of up to 10,000 euros. This can be used to finance the installation of hoops or cycle shelters on the company’s site, provided that approved manufacturers are used.
