Our business as a designer and manufacturer of street furniture in the Rhône-Alpes region goes back a long way. Over the years, we have supported our customers in their public space development projects. We’ve kept up with trends, changing user habits and the needs of local authorities and businesses alike. Polymobyl is both a space planning agency and a supplier of urban furniture. Based in the Rhône region, near Lyon, we operate throughout France and Morocco. From the creation of signage to the manufacture of bicycle shelters, we are a generalist service provider for professionals. Our product ranges include both urban furniture – picnic tables, benches, pergolas – and equipment dedicated to new modes of mobility. In particular, we design cycle shelters of all sizes, open or secure, with VAE charging stations and repair stations. Finally, because comfort and hygiene are fundamental to public spaces, we also manufacture planted shade structures, planters, litter garbage cans and ashtrays for green spaces and rest areas. Our creations favor sustainable materials, such as wood and steel, and adopt lines that blend into any environment.

Our company is heavily involved in supporting local authorities and companies in their efforts to adopt environmentally-friendly modes of transport. With this in mind, Polymobyl is referenced as a regional contributor to CARA, the European network for new mobility, which has been awarded the Cluster label for the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region. And that’s not all: we are also approved suppliers to the Objectif Employeur Pro-Vélo and Alvéole Plus schemes, which support companies and local authorities in their transition to green mobility. Designers of cycle shelters in the Rhône-Alpes region, we support every project from initial audit to on-site installation.

Our customers and our public spaces projects

As a French manufacturer of outdoor street furniture, we’re proud to have successfully completed a number of large-scale projects. Our customers include Winterhalter France, experts in washing solutions for professionals. Based on a set of specifications drawn up by our customers, our teams designed a fully customized bicycle shelter with integrated VAE terminals. Our references don’t stop there: national groups such as Veolia and SNCF have entrusted us with theiroutdoor space design projects. Polymobyl has also worked with Terideal, a French specialist in regional planning, and the mechatronics group Stäubli. In the region, our customers include OPAC du Rhône (a public planning and construction office) and École Centrale de Lyon.
